a Yamato-e Shinto tarot of 22 deities — launch is drawing near.
Of the 22, 8 deities are now complete; the remaining are being woven.
24 hours before launch, first to you alone.
Leave an email behind.
That alone holds your seat for the special price and the limited privileges.
To everyone who leaves an email, four things are given at launch. These belong only to the seats of those who reserved; they do not come with the deck once general sale opens.
24 hours before general sale, a link is sent by email to reservers alone. Hold all 22 deities in hand before anyone else.
A special price is set aside for reservers — a figure below the general sale price, reserved only for the first seats. The exact amount is sent to reservers just before launch.
A power stone chosen by the Witch HISUI to pair with Miko Oracle is gifted to every reserver — a small guardian stone matched to the natures of the 22 deities.
One web reading by the Witch HISUI, read directly with the 22 deities of Miko Oracle, is given free. Receive it at any time after launch.
One email is all it takes.
At launch, you will be told first.

Miko Oracle is an oracle deck that takes the 22 deities of Shinto as its subject. It shares the structure of the 22 Major Arcana of tarot, weaving the 22 central deities of Japanese myth.
It begins with the Three Noble Children — Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo — and runs through the eight million gods, the dark lineage, and at last the Miko who carries the oracle. Each deity is matched with a guardian power stone. It is an attempt to reweave, into 22 cards, the voices of the very gods who in myth first took up the jade.
The paintings are drawn by the Witch HISUI, in an atelier in the southern countryside of Miyagi Prefecture, on the nights of the full moon. The forms of the gods are rendered one at a time, with a brush that carries on the Yamato-e tradition.

toward launch
The Three Noble Children and the Creators — 8 deities complete.
The remaining 14 are woven one at a time, on the nights of the full moon.
The moment all 22 are whole, launch.
For each deity, a Yamato-e card painting, a guardian power stone, a note on the myth, and the oracle text for the upright card are woven. As long as it is handwork, it will not be rushed and made careless. Yet it will be finished as soon as it can be. The moment a launch date is set, reservers are told first.
Five thousand years ago, someone at Itoigawa
drilled the first hole through the first jade comma-bead.
Tonight, the HISUI atelier
weaves the next one.
There is still time.
