woven anew by the Witch HISUI.
A contemporary oracle inspired by ancient stories,
from the Three Noble Children, through the creators of the world,
the Eight Million Gods, the dark lineage,
and at last, the Miko herself, the medium.
Miko Oracle is a 22-card art collection by Stone Artistry HISUI, inspired by Japanese mythology and folklore. The artwork is complete; the physical deck is not yet available for purchase.
Alongside the dark-fantasy world of Noctéline Oracle, Miko Oracle explores Japanese stories through a contemporary artistic lens. A miko is a shrine attendant, not a Japanese equivalent of a witch. This collection is an independent HISUI creation, not a shrine-issued divination.
Beginning with Amaterasu Ōmikami, the sun goddess; through her brother Tsukuyomi the moon, and Susanoo the storm; through the creators Izanagi and Izanami; the gods of harvest, mountain, sea and dragon; the dark women of Yomi, the eight-headed serpent, the oni; and at last, the Miko. Each deity is paired with a guardian crystal from the HISUI master collection.
All 22 illustrations are complete, inspired by Yamato-e and illustrated scrolls.
